By now y’all know that I went to the University of Texas at Austin and I love me some college football. Best of all last Friday the Texas State Fair opened. And what’s better than The Texas State Fair and Texas/Ou Weekend combined into one fun day? That would be absolutely nothing in my book. It seriously is one of the best days of the year (that I always look forward to) when you can combine all my fall favorites: yummy food, lots of fun, tons festivities, and of course last but definitely not least always some football.

For The UT Fans/Anyone Who Likes Orange:

For The OU Fans/Anyone Who Likes Red:

Most of the college girls these days wear a fun orange, white or red dress with cute boots or booties. And most of the graduates you will find wearing a cute top (orange, white or red) with a cool pair of jeans and boots, booties or a fab pair of sneakers. Because yes you will be on your feet all dang day! So you want your feet to be comfortable. In the past when were to too concerned with being cute over comfort we would trade shoes with each other to give our feet a break at the end of the day. lol

Gameday is right around the corner but these looks can be worn year round to all the upcoming games and parties and of course they never go out of style. Also side note, many stores now have where you can order something online and then you have the ability to pick up items in the store; which is nice instead of having to get it shipped to you for much faster service.

The Texas State Fair will be open at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas until October 23rd. It has been at this same location for 130 years now. Did you know that 500,000 plush toys are given away on the midway each year,80,000 pounds of pure sugar cane were used for cotton candy last year during the Texas State Fair, each year more than 3 million rides are given on the midway, and 57,550 fletchers corny dogs were sold just during the Texas/Ou game. And this is the 94th year the Red River Showdown between University of Texas and Oklahoma has been played.
