The Slimming Stripes ‘Street Edit’
We all know by now its no surprise that I have a sort of fascination with anything denim. And I’m always on the lookout for the next pair that is cool and different in some way from all the rest. Therefore today I’m sharing with each of you a new ‘Street Edit’ with good friend Heather Anderson of SoHeather, and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger featuring the Mother Stunner Zip Ankle Step Fray Jean with stunning lengthening and slimming stripes down the legs. This striped frayed jean I know will quickly become one of your favorites. You might also remember the last jean we featured was the AG Phoebe Vintage High Waist Straight Leg Jeans in my post BLAZERS: THEY TAKE YOUR LOOK TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
These Mother Stunner Zip Ankle Step Fray Jean (also here & here and similar for less here & here) feature a high-rise, with very slimming racing stripes down the sides and a frayed, faded, uneven, flared hem. I honestly cannot get enough of these jeans and feel 10 lbs slimmer while wearing them because the stripe down the side makes you appear taller and skinnier. I actually went down a size to a 25 because I like my denim more fitted, but Heather didn’t. I’ve paired my jeans with this beautiful white asymmetrical blouse with ruffles by Clu (also here & similar here for for less) and mine is a size small for reference; Christian Louboutin Iriza Half d’Orsay Nude Pump (similar for less here); Chloe Small Nile Leather Saddle Bag (similar for less & here); Nicola Bathie Designs Earrings; and finally my Harper Hallam Bracelet.
If you haven’t tried a pair of Mother jeans yet you should definitely give them a try. They have a very nice fit and seem to keep everything up and in place (if you know what I mean). The fabrics are amazingly soft and comfortable as well. I know they will no doubt be one of your favorites for years to come.
