Take Your Look To The Next Level With One Item: A Balmain Blazer Dupe
Not sure about all of you but I’ve had a huge obsession with the Balmain double breasted-blazer for as long as I can remember. I would say that this fabulously fitted wool-twill blazer has been worn by more celebrities, fashion icons, fashion bloggers and fashion insiders than I can count. If the price tag were not so dang high I would most definitely have purchased one by now. But with a price tag of $2,385.00 I just cannot reasonably spend that kind of money even for this widely famous double-breasted, with its perfectly fitted silhouette and its beautifully placed gold buttons. So today I’ve solved this problem for all of us because I’m going to ‘Take Your Look To The Next Level With One Item: A Balmain Blazer Dupe’.
And yes you will not even believe how similar some of these blazers that I found are to the original. In this latest edition of the ‘Street Edit’ with good friend Heather Anderson of SoHeather, and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger we are both featuring the classic black blazer. Plus don’t forget to also check out some other great finds of mine from my previous post:VALENTINE’S OR GALENTINE’S OUTFIT IDEAS FOR ALL and MY PICKS FOR THE NORDSTROM HALF-YEARLY SALE + OTHER NOTABLE SALES.
The main difference from my double breasted blazer and the original is the fabric. But this is such a minor detail and the overall look is still just as fabulous and most importantly budget friendly. I have even found some other blazers are great dupes as well here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here. I know you will find one that works for you that you will wear a thousand times over and over like I have.
I’ve paired my blazer with one of my very favorite black flare jeans the GRLFRND Natalia Split-Hem Skinny High-Rise Jeans (and here, here and for less here). Grlfrnd is a fresh approach to vintage-inspired denim. “Grlfrnd is—the perfect wash, the perfect fit, and your perfect companion. The more you wear them, the better they get,” says Raissa Gerona of Revolve. And yes I could not agree any more with her I just love mine as well.
I am also wearing the Tiger’s Eye Body By Blue Life Suede Boogie Nights Body Suit. This bodysuit is seriously the softest of all my bodysuits. And fyi I am very long-waisted so I got a medium in this one for a little more length. The rest of my #00td include: my favorite Gucci Suede pump, Gucci Logo Belt, Jennifer Zeuner – Chelsea Horizontal Necklace, Alexis Bittar Staggered Spear Pendant Necklace, Harper Hallam Hobnail Bracelet, Chanel Vintage Handbag and Dior So Real Two-Tone Brow-Bar Sunglasses in Bronze.
I hope that this post will make you rethink the classic black blazer once and for all. Now go and get yourself a fabulous Balmain dupe like I have. I promise you won’t regret it and you will wear it ALL year long.
As always please let me know if you have any questions.
