Tied Up & Totally Casual For Summer + Feature In D Magazine
I’m so very excited to share with each of you that I am featured in this month’s D Magazine as one of the top ‘Instagrammers of a Certain Age‘. To read the full article click here I was thrilled to be included in this round-up with some of my blogger friends So Heather, The Middle Page and Tanya Foster. It’s a great article about bloggers over 40.
As you know I don’t wear a lot of dresses but when I do I make sure they are just like this Nation tie front tee shirt dress. This fabric is unbelievable you seriously feel as though you’re still wearing your pajamas. It is beyond soft and oh so comfy. That is how all the fabrics are from this line. They are known for having the absolutely softest fabrics around. And the best part is I found it in two colors for 64% OFF right now making it less then $35! And you might remember some previous posts that I shared on this brand A VERSATILE TOP THAT CAN BE WORN TWO WAYS , BLACK & WHITE TRANSITION and also VALENTINE’S OR GALENTINE’S OUTFIT IDEAS FOR ALL. Plus don’t forget to head to the very bottom of the post to sign up for the Gucci Marmont Handbag Giveaway (and it does not include a loop so it’s super easy).
Nation LTD (also found here & here) is one of my very favorite tee shirt lines. They worked with manufacturers to develop high-quality, beautiful fabrics with great hand feel. They have written on their labels “Never Loan Out.” Seriously. Hang on to your Nation clothes because you won’t get them back. And this is so true because my three daughters try to steal them all the time. So watch out! I found several in their trunks for camp that I shared with them (reluctantly of course). I just hope they make it back home with them when they get home next week.
This Evelyn tie front tee shirt dress (also found here & here) can be found in two colors: this grey that I am wearing and also a beautiful denim blue color (I’m seriously considering buying it in this color as well) it’s that comfortable. For size reference I’m wearing a small. One on my favorite current designs is this Cascade Cold Shoulder Sweatshirt (because I’m always cold and this is so stylish). The designer Jen Menchaca, a Texas native, started with the goal of just replicating her dads cool vintage v-neck tee. Her loyal hollywood following began and now she’s living the life in LA with a very successful design company. I couldn’t be happier for her. I also would like to wish her a very happy birthday as well (it was yesterday).
I’ve paired my tee shirt dress with the monogrammed tde Mist Grey Pouch; my super cool Philippe Model Lateral Patch Sneakers (much cheaper than Golden Goose which start at $460 and go up from there) and my shoe steals are: similar for less here, here, & here; Nicola Bathie Designs Earrings; and my Dior So Real Round Brow Bar Sunglasses (similar for less here).
So now you are officially forewarned that when you see me out and about town there’s quite a big chance that I will have on something from Nation, LTD. And it might even be this amazing tee shirt dress (I know you’re shocked because it’s not jeans and a tee).
I hope you’re all having an amazing summer so far and always please let me know if you have any questions.
