What I Wore at NYFW

Hi SSS I’m just back from my first trip to New York Fashion Week. It truly was a dream come true to attend NYFW and all the fashion shows and presentations along with some of my favorite blogger friends from Dallas as well. So I’m sure you’re all wondering what I wore at NYFW? Well this post will answer all of your questions and give you some fall fashion inspirations.

The first day I arrived it was quite warm in the city but the next several days were just beautiful and the energy in the city was of course contagious! We had very long days of running from and from fashion shows, to fashion presentations,  to backstage access and to brand meetings as well. Our days and nights were also filled with lots of eating, drinking and shopping of course too.

All the images in this post are from my days spent in the city at Fashion Week. You can easily shop these looks by just clicking on the picture that you are interested in. From there each item in the picture will have a direct link to the products that I’m wearing. I hope you find this easy especially for those who are not signed up for liketoknow.it emails already.

I wore a army green Veronica Beard bomber, a white bodysuit (that I purchased while on the trip) along with my Frame black jeans (by the way I’m wearing a size 25 jean and fyi they have a lot of stretch to them so I went down a size, usually I’m a 26) and finished the look off with my new black mules by No. 21. and my favorite Gucci belt (that I’m seriously obsessed with) to the Veronica Beard fashion show. This show as seriously one of my favorite moments of NYFW. I got to spend quite a bit of time with both Veronica’s (the designers for Veronica Beard are sister-in laws married to brothers) at the event and they are both as sweet as they can be and just gorgeous. It was definitely very entertaining (just check out my snapchat for the pictures and videos from the event @streetstylesqd) and always gorgeous clothes of course as well.

After the Veronica Beard Show I rushed over (and barely got there in time because the traffic was horrible) to the Erin Fetherston Fashion Show. That day Erin was celebrating ten years of showing during NYFW and it was quite spectacular I must say. Erin is well known for her flowing dresses and statement making gowns, but she had put her designer label on hiatus for the past five years to build her contemporary offering ‘ERIN erin fetherston’. The designer felt this anniversary was the opportune moment to relaunch the ‘Erin Fetherston’ collection and create something that speaks to the woman she is today.

Another show that was a highlight of my trip was the Louis Verdad fashion show. Louis’ designs were absolutely breath taking and this Spring ’17 Collection he focused on denim throughout his designs (which we all know by now is a favorite of mine). I wore an adorable navy and black blouse by Rebecca Taylor called the “Vien” top in lace with contrast organza and crinkled chiffon trim, a jewel neckline with plunging sweetheart illusion, cap sleeves (my favorite because it flatters everyone), fitted silhouette, and finished off with a peplum hem. I paired this blouse with crop black pants by Theory and a pair of Chanel Mules.

The fabulous black deep v cut bodysuit with contrast sheer sleeves and buttoned cuffs that I wore to the Reward Style’s big NYFW party was from Revolve (one of my favorite places to shop for special items that no one else seems to have).

I also wore in New York the softest lace-up burgundy bodysuit ever by Alexander Wang (it also comes in black) out and bout on the town. And on the last day I chose another super soft item (sometimes comfort is key) also by Alexander Wang, a blue velvet bomber, black bodysuit, another favorite pair of black jeans and my gucci belt again for my last day of shopping at Barney’s and eating at my favorite place for lunch in all of NYC, Fred’s.

I loved my first time trip to NYFW with all of my Dallas blogger friends we certainly had a fabulous time with lots of laughs. Especially with regards to bodysuits and how they fit, etc. And I also enjoyed meeting so many new bloggers from all over and establishing long-lasting friendships for years to come I’m sure.

Happy Thursday to all!

Tiffany
