I’m happy to share with each of you today my 2 WHBM looks for fall because it’s not just a place for workwear anymore. It had been awhile since I had visited WHBM because they closed the one that was closest to my house. From the moment I walked into the White House Black Market store here in Dallas I was excited. You know how much I love a jacket or blazer for a GNO or datenight (like here or here).

I was even more impressed with what I saw while there. I felt as though they have completely updated and truly elevated their entire fashion scene. Everything to me just seemed to be more polished, perfectly curated and expertly cut. With each piece I tried on I loved the fit and construction a little bit more. Peplum Denim Jacket with Leather Trim:

I’m obsessed with this grey Peplum Denim Jacket (also love this denim jacket here & this denim jacket too) because I just love the fun and flirty ruffled peplum hem. It’s finished off with an uber chic leather trim and beautiful crest buttons. The spandex combined with the denim makes it super comfortable and slightly stretchy and not stiff and uncomfortable like most denim jackets can be.

I just love the versatility of this peplum jacket: dress it up for a night out on the town like I have here with some WHBM fabulous denim (the Tuxedo-Stripe Jeans); grab a LBD or black pants to highlight the black leather and you’re ready for church, brunch or work. I found that the WHBM Jackets ran TTS. I could honestly wear either a 2 regular or a 4 petite. In this jacket I am wearing a 4 petite and it fits just right.

Tuxedo Stripe Jean:

I paired my peplum jacket with the Tuxedo-Stripe Jean. I just love how the metallic tuxedo-stripe dresses up the jean. It takes it your average blue denim to something a little dressier without the high cost. The price if this denim is a shocking $89! Plus the fit of these jeans could not be more perfect either. They suck you in, in all the right places because of the slight spandex that they have. Because of this it also makes these jeans extra comfortable which I love and not stiff at all.

For those of you who are regulars here at Street Style Squad you know I’m jean addicted and know a thing or two about my denim. I found that WHBM Jeans run slightly big. Because of the spandex that mine have I believe you can size down. I am wearing a 00. But we all know I do prefer mine to be fitted.

Shawl Collar Grid Patterned Blazer:

We all know that my absolute favorite look for a girls night out or date night is to grab a gorgeous blazer and a cool girl pair of denim and heels. So for my second look I chose this stunning Shawl Collar Grid Blazer and uber cool Classic Rise Skinny Ankle Jeans with Vegan Leather Trim. I must say that it had been awhile since I had shopped at WHBM and I was very pleasantly surprised by all the high quality, on trend blazers and jackets throughout the store. And always at amazing prices as well. I know that I will no doubt head here next time I’m looking for just the right one.

The fit of this black and ecru grid pattern blazer (similar grid patterned blazer found here) honestly reminds me of my favorite Veronica Beard blazers (and as we all know at a quarter of the price). It’s definitely a step up from your basic black blazer game also. The grid pattern stands out against the beautiful ecru color in the background and is sure to make a lasting impression at your next event. I found so many blazers at WHBM that I liked I had a hard time choosing my favorite one for this post. See below for some others I liked…

Ankle Skinny Jean with Vegan Leather Trim:

I’ve paired my updated patterned blazer with these uber cool Skinny Ankle Jeans with Vegan Leather Trim throughout. I was shocked by the price if this grey denim also being $89. I thought for sure because of the vegan leather trim it would be well over $100. This denim also fits amazing and I cannot get enough of how well they fit. I suggest because of the spandex that these also have that you can size down in them. I am wearing a 00 in these too. But don’t forget I do prefer my denim to be more fitted to lift and pull everything up and in.
