Fall Transition With Black and White

Fall Transition With Black and White

Ahh fall cannot get here fast enough! Excited to share this fall transition with black and white post with each of you this week. I am welcoming cooler weather with open arms. Hopefully it’s coming very soon to Texas because I am so ready for it.

Fall means many things, but especially football and that’s my favorite time of year. In this post, I am keeping it classic, clean, fresh, and modern with this simple dark and light colored look. I know, I know your shocked that I’ve chosen these colors. haha

I just love this gorgeous black blouse by Acler with its low v-neckline. Making it a very versatile piece that can be dressed up or down, my favorite type of garment. The fit elongates the torso, and is great for all figures. This look will transition into cooler weather so easily with a cute little bomber or leather jacket. You might remember me wearing this gorgeous LBD by Acler a couple months ago as well. This exact blouse is sold out but I’ve linked similar ones and also other ones by Acler.

Acler is a hip new label based in Sydney but stocked online and at retailers worldwide. I always get my Acler pieces from either veux.com or revolve. Acler was conceived by co-designers Kathryn Forth and Julia Ritorto. Kathryn was the head designer at Cameo. They are known for bridging the gap between runway trends and your budget. Kathryn turned Cameo into an international hit. She has since partnered with Julia Ritorto, the former head designer of Cameo’s sister label, Finders Keepers, to bring us Acler.

Their common goal was to rebel against cookie-cutter digital design and bring the design process back to its fundamentally tactile roots. Each Acler piece is developed over a process of 12 months, (yes 12 months) and is subtly redrafted, and redraped along the way. Kathryn describes it as “feminine draping and androgynous tailoring”. The end result is a meticulously constructed piece, which has an organic sculptural shape and an ultimately refined minimalism. And most importantly you will not look like everyone else in the room. I now own two little black Acler dresses and one Acler black top. I find myself choosing them year round.

Most importantly if you wear the Acler line you will not look like everyone else in the room, and what’s better than that? Nothing in my book. Be different, edgy, modern, and always classy and you cannot go wrong.
