You know that saying right before you head out on that date night, girls night out or brunch/lunch date, “I have nothing to wear”. Well I’ve got that problem solved with this one single post. A simple black blazer is always the absolute perfect option. Whether you pair it with a silk cami and heels (like I have here) for a dressier look or with a tee and sneakers for a more casual and uber-cool look. When you find an investment piece that you just can’t live without that is so versatile you pull the trigger on the purchase with no regrets whatsoever. I have been eyeing this Veronica Beard Whit Blazer (also found here & similar for less here, here & here) for quite sometime. The versatility of this simple black blazer can easily take you from the office to your next cocktail hour with friends. FYI this blazer runs smaller than the scuba blazer in my opinion. I am wearing a size 4 in this blazer instead of my usual size 2 that I wear in the scuba blazer.

My favorite color of jeans to wear more than any other is a faded grey wash like I am wearing here in this post. These DL 1961 Farrow High Rise Jeans in light smoke (also found here & on sale in blue denim here & also here in blue & similar for less here & here) are my newest pair of denim that I’ve just added to my closet. These distressed DL1961 denim have a leg-lengthening high waist and footwear-flaunting ankle hems. They do have some stretch to them so I sized down to a size 25 for a more fitted look.

Underneath my pinstriped blazer I chose my favorite Racer Cami Tank by Cami NYC (also found here & similar for less here & here). I’ve finished off my look with the iconic Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong heels that I actually have been coveting for a very long time. These Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong Ankle Strap Sandals in pewter glass (higher platform heel found here, similar for less here & here) have a lower heel. This heel is an updated version of the best-selling Nudist Sandal, the Nudistsong from Stuart Weitzman. It features a slightly lower heel height while still retaining the slender straps and setback heel of the original. These heels run very TTS. I am typically a 7 1/2 or 8 and I am wearing a size 7 1/2. I do have a pretty narrow foot though, so if your foot is slightly wider I then would size up if are between sizes.
