Anthropology Pilcro and the Letterpress Superscript Flare Jeans:
These black flare jeans could not be any more flattering and slimming with their wide leg and large cuff.  News alert: Get them ASAP because they’re on sale now! I paid $149 originally and they are now a staggering $49.95. These won’t last long and I’ve worn mine all winter. The fabric is a great weight for year-round wear as well.

Zara Silk Blouse:
This

black silk blouse is simple and beautiful. It has back half zipper in silver. My favorite part about this top is the flare on the wrist that does not overwhelm the look because it is slightly cropped in the front and has a longer drape in the back.

Zara Long Grey Sweater:
This sweater is very soft and a great weight for layering. I do not like itchy wool sweaters; they drive me crazy! So to me the feel is everything—and this one feels like heaven! Also, I’m 5’6’’ and this length of sweater works well for me, although sometimes I think long coats and sweaters can be a little overwhelming for my size. My advice for those worried about trying this look would be to keep simple monochromatic tones underneath. That, along with the length of the sweater, will help elongate your body.

Gucci Patent Leather Horsebit Belt:
This has been absolutely one of my very favorite fall staples. I have worn it probably a hundred times already. I purchased it because I needed a thinner belt to wear with all of the high-waisted pants and jeans I that were in my closet. All of my other belts were too thick and bulky and this one is just right. I love the black patent material and, of course the signature Gucci horsebit buckle. It has a push-through button closure that lays flat against your body for an extra-flattering slim silhouette.

Christian Louboutin Pointed-Toe Pump:
These shoes were my first pair of Louboutins and if there’s one thing in my closet that has earned its keep, it’s these shoes. They have a flattering 4” heel and the pointed toe works with any style of clothing from day to night looks. They can be worn with pants or jeans, dresses, or skirts. Dress them up or dress them down, there is nothing boring about this classic shoe that will be around for a very long time to come.

Calypso St. Barth Silver Hammered Hoop Earrings:
These silver Morra Designs hoop earrings from Calypso were such a favorite of mine that I went back and purchased the gold ones as well. They are delicately hammered and silver-plated. They go so well with so many different looks. I like wearing them when my hair is down and they don’t get lost or hidden because of their size and shine even behind my thick hair. The earrings show even more elegantly when I’m wearing a bun or ponytail.

Dior So Real Brow Bar Sunglasses:
These frames were my first pair of Dior sunglasses. Before that I was a fan of Tom Ford, Prada, Gucci, Rayban, and Chanel. However, now that I have these—and if you’ve ever seen me out you know—I have worn these sunglasses to death. They have gone everywhere from workouts on the beach to an elegant night out on the town.

Vintage Tiffany & Co. White Gold Feather Snake Lariat Necklace:
A dear friend and neighbor of mine sold me this antique white gold lariat necklace that measures 51” long and can be worn in several different ways. You can wrap it as a lariat style once, twice, or even three times, leaving one end short or long. This necklace has been a long-time favorite of mine because of its look and versatility.  I hope to pass this down to one of my girls one day. It has extra special meaning to me as well because I am actually named after the store Tiffany & Co.

Chanel Classic Flap Bag:
This gorgeous classic black quilted lambskin and Chanel bag with gold hardware was given to me by my mother. I treasure it and know that I one day my girls will fight over it! My Godmother always says whoever takes care of me the best in my old age will inherit it. Joking aside, this Chanel bag, like those Christian Louboutin pumps, will forever be in style and only get better with age…like my favorite red wine. Cheers!

Megan_Weaver_35 A mom’s work is never done! Here I am on location for my shoot in downtown Dallas at the Joule Hotel while receiving a text message from one of my daughters while she’s at school. I’m sure it was very, very important. If you ever come to Dallas for a visit, or live here and just want a fun night out, you must try their restaurant, Americano. It’s wonderful! You can also visit the hotels’ many shops, most notably, Traffic LA. You can enjoy tea and champagne on Saturdays at the Taschen Library (while receiving 10% off Taschen purchases) or relax and unwind in their 8,000 square foot spa. If you’re ready for a fun-filled night out, you must hit up the Midnight Rambler for some smashing craft cocktails (that is if you’re over 21).
