Not sure about all of you but I’ve had a huge obsession with the Balmain double-breasted blazer for as long as I can remember. I would say that this fabulously fitted wool-twill blazer has been worn by more celebrities, fashion icons, fashion bloggers and fashion insiders than I can count. If the price tag were not so dang high I would most definitely have purchased one by now. But with a price tag of $2,385.00 I just cannot reasonably spend that kind of money even for this widely famous double-breasted, with its perfectly fitted silhouette and its beautifully placed gold buttons. Another blazer obsession of mine would no doubt be Veronica Beard’s blazers as well. While these blazers are significantly less than Balmain’s and a classic that also will never go out of style, they tend come with a slightly high price tag as well. I am therefore always on the lookout for a blazer dupe that has a very high quality yet without the matching price tag. If you’ve visited SSS before then you know I love a good, classic blazer several examples shown here, here & here that you might remember. Today I’m sharing with you the one that is a true classic at an even better price! The Club Monaco Jowdie Button-Front Crepe Blazer (also found here & similar for less here, here in velvet (that I own in both colors) here & here). The main difference from my double breasted blazer and the iconic Balmain & Veronica Beard blazers are the buttons. But this is such a minor detail (that can be replaced very easily if you really want a Balmain type crest button) and the overall look is still just as fabulous and most importantly very budget friendly. I did not replace my buttons on my Club Monaco Jowdie Blazer because they look good to me. I just know you will love this blazer and wear it over and over again like I have.

I’ve paired my blazer dupe with the  DL1961 Farrow High Rise Jeans (also found here, & here & similar here, here and here) when they say Instasculpt they mean it. These jeans suck and hold you in all the right places. I decided since these jeans are ‘sculpting’ and slightly stretchy to size down to a size 25 for a more fitted look. I do prefer my jeans to be more fitted though, so if you don’t I would just purchase your normal size.

I also love a good pair of OTK boots! And without a doubt Stuart Weitzman is the go-to for all boots, especially their over-the-knee boots. Their OTK boots are iconic and no doubt the best of the best. Everyone has tried to copy his well-known design and there are some fabulous dupes that Nordstrom sells as well. Today I’m featuring the Stuart Weitzman Hiline Over the Knee Boot in Nutmeg Suede (Lowland otk boot version & Tieland otk boot version & similar for less here, here & here). If you can believe it this boot comes in 8 gorgeous colors to choose from. I normally wear these boots with a thin sock so I sized up a half size to an 8 to give me plenty of room.
